Fun Facts
Did you know that approximately 2,300 acres of land in the City of Jackson are composed of our 57 city parks and facilities? The areas include: playgrounds, swimming pools, golf courses, tennis courts, picnic grounds, and jogging and walking paths. In addition, our special facilities include: community centers, which are available for public use; Smith Wills Stadium; Mynelle Gardens, which is the city’s botanical gardens; and the Jackson Zoo.
