ATTENTION JACKSON RESIDENTS: Mayor Lumumba has issued a STAY AT HOME ORDER for the City of Jackson to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. As a precaution, City Hall and all non-essential city government offices, including our Senior Community Centers and Early Childhood Development Centers will be closed until April 17, 2020. Public gatherings of 10 or more people are strictly prohibited. Restaurants may only operate as take-out, drive-through, or delivery service only. Mission Statement

To produce high quality, safe water in adequate quantities to serve the needs of the customers within the area certificated to the City of Jackson; to distribute this water to these customers in a safe manner; and to collect waste water from both retail and wholesale customers and treat the waste water to make it safe to return to the river with minimum impact on the environment. The goal is to perform these tasks in a manner that provides the customers with the services desired at an affordable price through systems that are reliable in their ability to perform their functions as designed.
