Water Distribution Site Friday, July 1, 2022, on Hanging Moss Road/Nakoma Drive

July 1, 2022
(Jackson, Miss.) – The City of Jackson will distribute cases of bottled water to residents in need today beginning at 1 p.m. at the intersection of Hanging Moss Road and Nakoma Drive. There is a limit of one case of water per vehicle. The distribution will resume until supplies run out. 
 
Potable water is also available for affected residents at any of the City’s fire stations.  
 
What: Water distribution 
 
When: 1 p.m. Friday, July 1
 
Where: Commercial lot at the intersection of Hanging Moss Road/Nakoma Drive 
 
The City plans to have a distribution site available every day until the boil water notices are lifted. We will keep the media advised of any new developments. 
 
The City would like to send a special thanks to Pastor Robert Berry of Word of Life Church for donating the water.
