UPDATE REGARDING FIRE AT O.B. CURTIS

(JACKSON, MS) – We had a good night at O.B. Curtis WTP pushing water into the system. The storage tanks are beginning to fill and the City pressure is around 80 psi. The goal is to gradually increase toward 90 psi. The Public Works team started water sampling today, and will continue through tomorrow weather permitting. For now, a boil water notice remains in effect for all surface water connections. We anticipate steady improvement throughout the weekend with no major setbacks.
