Praise Dance Explosion Showcase

The City of Jackson, Department of Parks and Recreation is set to host our annual Praise Dance Explosion showcase featuring dance genres of liturgical, modern, classical, tap, praise & worship dance and mime from various groups and solos performers from the city of Jackson and surroundings areas.

We are looking for participants from church praise and mime teams, community dance teams, dance studios and more! Registration forms can be emailed or picked up from the Department of Parks and Recreation Administrative Office which is located at 1000 Metrocenter Drive, Suite 104 Jackson, Mississippi 39205 Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.

  • Date: Saturday, March 21, 2020
  • Location: Thalia Mara Hall (255 East Pascagoula Street, Jackson, MS 39201)
  • Doors open at 4:00 p.m. Show Starts at 5:00 p.m. (Ticket office opens at 4:00 p.m. the day of the show)
  • General Admission: $5.00 (Cash Only)
  • Free for children five (5) years old and under
