Mission Statement
The City of Jackson Human Resources Department provides a comprehensive program of principal support for City departments, employees, and the public in general. This includes implementing human resources policies and practices based on fairness and equality. This leads to a value-added department that partners with all City departments to provide human resource support and guidance to ensure organizational goals and missions are achieved for the employees on behalf of Administration.
Responsibilities
HR primary responsibilities includes administration, benefits and compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and training and development. We are in business for the employees and all things worker-related with great PRIDE.
