George Horn, Division Fire Chief

George E. Horn is the Division Chief of Training for the Jackson Fire Department. George began his career with the Jackson Fire Department in 2004. George has been specializing in Technical Rescue as well as National Fire Protection Association 1001 field delivery classes for over ten years. He is a member of the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security Task Force Team and is as a specialized adjunct instructor for the Mississippi State Fire Academy.

George has been married to Tessa for seventeen years and they have a son named Braxton. He enjoys hunting, coaching baseball, spending time with his family, and attending Ole Miss sporting events. George is a strong believer in God, family, and the fire service profession.
