CITY OF JACKSON VACCINATION DAY POSTPONED DUE TO CONTINUED IMPACT OF WEATHER

Rescheduling details to be forthcoming, Jackson residents asked to stay tuned

(JACKSON, MS) – TODAY, Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba announced that the City of Jackson’s highly anticipated Vaccination Day event, initially scheduled for this Saturday, February 20th, will need to be postponed due to the continued impact of weather conditions on the City, including road closures, power disruptions and residents experiencing low or no water pressure.

Efforts are being made now to reschedule. As soon as details are confirmed, we will notify the public of the new date and resume taking phone calls for registration. Phone lines are being paused for the moment. We ask the public to please stay tuned and we will notify you when you should call in again.
