Press Release: City of Jackson Gearing Up for Annual Easter Egg Hunt

(JACKSON, Miss.) – It’s that time of the year again! The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is set to take place Saturday, April 20th at the V.A. Legion Softball Complex located at 4500 Officer Thomas Catchings Sr. Drive, Jackson, MS. This event is for children 4 – 8 years old.

Citizens in the Jackson area will have the opportunity to enjoy food vendors and live entertainment, all in a safe environment. Line-up starts at 11:00 a.m. and the hunt begins promptly at 12:00 noon sharp. We are asking parents to please bring a bag, basket, or bucket to collect eggs, candy, and prizes.

This event is brought to you by the Department of Parks & Recreation along with our co-sponsor, WJMI and WKXI radio stations. All prizes and golden eggs are donated by our sponsors.
