ATTENTION JACKSON RESIDENTS: Mayor Lumumba has issued a STAY AT HOME ORDER for the City of Jackson to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, which will take effect Friday, April 3, 2020, at 12:00 am. As a precaution, City Hall and all non-essential city government offices, including our Senior Community Centers and Early Childhood Development Centers will be closed until April 17, 2020. Public gatherings of 10 or more people are strictly prohibited. Restaurants may only operate as take-out, drive-through, or delivery service only. Dumpster locations

Canton Club Circle and Sedgewick Drive intersection

River Road and Deer Trail intersection

Dumpsters are available Friday, February 21, 2020, and next week ONLY. Dumpster pickup will be 8:00 am โ€“ 3:00 pm.

*Drywall must be taken to the dumpster*

Curbside pickup

Curbside pickup is available for citizens living in the following areas: Deer Trail, River Road, Cypress Trail, River Cove, Foxboro Drive, Sedgewick Drive, Canton Club Circle, and Rolling Woods Subdivision

Curbside pickup will be Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 am โ€“ 5:00 pm until further notice. Citizens must call 601-960-1193. Inspectors will come out to assess the trash and the pickup will be the following day. If someone calls on a Friday, pickup will be on Monday.

Residents who do not live in the affected areas listed, but suffered flood damage should also call the number listed above. An inspector will assess the trash.
