ATTENTION JACKSON RESIDENTS: Mayor Lumumba has issued a STAY AT HOME ORDER for the City of Jackson to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. As a precaution, City Hall and all non-essential city government offices, including our Senior Community Centers and Early Childhood Development Centers will be closed until April 17, 2020. Public gatherings of 10 or more people are strictly prohibited. Restaurants may only operate as take-out, drive-through, or delivery service only. Annual Drinking Water Quality Reports

The City if Jackson is committed to providing our consumers with the highest-quality drinking water by ensuring that the water we treat meets or surpasses federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards. Our water system includes a portion that is supplied by the OB Curtis Water Treatment Plant and the JH Fewell Water Treatment Plant (surface water portion of the system) and six ground water wells serving areas in South Jackson and portions of the City of Byram.
