Effective June 30, 2020: Per the Second Amended Stay Safe Jackson Executive Order, individuals in the City of Jackson are required to wear a face covering in public. Business owners must require all parties (employees, patrons, etc.) to wear a face covering. Businesses found in violation will be shutdown for 24-hours and must submit an Attestation of Compliance with the City of Jackson before reopening. Annual Drinking Water Quality Reports

The City if Jackson is committed to providing our consumers with the highest-quality drinking water by ensuring that the water we treat meets or surpasses federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards. Our water system includes a portion that is supplied by the OB Curtis Water Treatment Plant and the JH Fewell Water Treatment Plant (surface water portion of the system) and six ground water wells serving areas in South Jackson and portions of the City of Byram.
