Trash will not be collected if your normal collection day falls on or after New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, The Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Instead, your trash will be collected on your next regular collection day.

Yes, residents may request special pick-ups on Wednesdays for large appliances and tires (up to five). Contact the Solid Waste Division at 601-960-1193 for more information. 

Yes, residents can curb bulky items such as mattresses and household furniture outside of their homes and Solid Waste will pick it up on their second collection day. For example, if your collection days are Tuesdays and Fridays, your second collection day is Friday.
