I am interested in finding a vacant building for sale or for lease in Jackson. Who maintains a current data base? There are numerous sources for this type of information. In addition to working with a local real estate sales person, the Hinds County Economic Development District maintains an inventory of larger buildings suitable for industrial/warehousing needs.
I would like assistance in finding a suitable site for industrial or warehouse uses. Who can help me? The City has land available in several industrial parks which may fit your needs. Call 601-960-2480 for more information
I represent a housing non-profit organization and would like to know more about available funds and programs. The Office of Housing and Community Development offers several programs that may be helpful to your organization. In addition, the City may be able to procure tax-forfeited land from the State of Mississippi that will help you with infill sites. For information about funding programs, call Louis E. Armstrong at 601-960-2155, and, to learn more about land bank property and surplus property, call 601-960-2266.
