Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba extends the Executive Order closing City Hall and non-essential offices effective Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 12:00 a.m. through Thursday, January 21, 2021, until rescinded or superseded by another applicable Proclamation or Executive Order. The Department of the Municipal Clerk at City Hall will still be open to receive legal documents as well as assist TSA, passport, open records and 2021 elections customers.

   

Woodland Hills Public Access Gate Application

WHCA Locations

Please take notice that Woodland Hills Conservation Association(WHCA) has filed application for two public access gates with the City of Jackson. As part of that application process WHCA is required to provide notice to all property owners within the neighborhood boundary and all property owners identified by city staff as directly affected by the gate outside of the neighborhood boundary.


The application is for the following locations:

  1. Glenway Drive at Old Canton Road
  2. Ridge Drive at Wood Dale Road

A community meeting will be held as required by Section 110-28 of the City of Jackson Code of Ordinances. Due to the COVID-19 restricted, this meeting will be held virtually.
