Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba extends the Executive Order closing City Hall and non-essential offices effective Friday, January 22, 2021 and shall remain in effect through Friday, February 12, 2021, or until rescinded or superseded by another applicable Proclamation of Executive Order. The Department of the Municipal Clerk at City Hall will still be open to receive legal documents as well as assist TSA, passport, open records, and 2021 elections customers.

Roll-Off Dumpster Day 2020-2021 Schedule

The City of Jackson is encouraging citizens of Jackson to participate in Roll-Off Dumpster Day. Roll-Off Dumpster Day will be held once a month, on the second Saturday of each month for the upcoming year. The dumpsters will be placed at one location each month. The roll-off
dumpsters will available at one of the following locations from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather
permitting. We are asking residents not to leave debris at locations if dumpsters are not

Residents may bring all household furniture, small appliances, and accessories for disposal.
However, tires, chemicals, and gas tanks are not accepted in Roll-Off Dumpster program.
Participants are required to place debris inside the dumpster provided at the locations.

City businesses and residents living outside the city limits of the City of Jackson are not eligible to participate. Proof of residency may be required. For more information about Roll-Off Dumpster Day and other Solid Waste programs, contact the City of Jackson at 601-960-0000.
