Temporary Suspension of Applications for HHPG and Limited Repair Notice

The City of Jackson’s Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) would like to thank the citizens of Jackson for their interest in the Healthy Homes Production Grant and the Community Development Block Grant’s Limited Repair Program. These programs take a comprehensive approach to addressing housing-related hazards in a coordinated fashion and improve the livability of a home, extend its life for a minimum of 10 years, and meet the current minimum building codes, whenever possible.

Due to the tremendous response regarding participation in these programs, the OHCD will temporarily suspend the intake of applications in order to focus on processing the numerous submissions to determine eligibility. During this period, a waiting list will be provided to capture the continued interest in these programs. A notice will be provided to the public when the OHCD resumes the intake of applications.
