FAQ Topic: Small Business Restart Fund

All of our staff will be communicating with you over the phone or by email. If you do not have access to the Internet and need help completing and submitting your application, please call 601) 960-1993 and a City of Jackson employee will get back to you directly to assist.

The City will begin accepting application on X, Month, day, year at time. Once an application is submitted, the City will notify the business owner within a week if they application was approved or denied. Once an applicant has been notified of approval, funds will be delivered with X to X business days via check.

Grants will be used to help businesses address: Debts Payroll Accounts payable Lost sales Lost opportunities Other working capital expenses that could have been recognized had the Covid-19 pandemic not occurred.

In order to get you the grant as quickly as possible, your business must become a business with the City of Jackson. Please reach out to X to fill out a privilege license application and learn more about the next steps of the process.
