Tiny T. Harris, Deputy Chief

Deputy Chief Tiny Harris is a 20-year veteran of the Jackson Police Department. He has served as a patrolman, mounted officer, detective, and sergeant. As a patrolman, Harris was a field training officer who worked routine patrol and was assigned to various task force details. As a detective, he worked in Vice & Narcotics of Major Investigation. As a Sergeant, Harris served as a Patrol Sergeant at Precinct Two and D.A.R.T. (Direct Action Response Team). Presently, Tiny T. Harris is the Deputy Chief of Patrol Operation where he oversees the day to day operations of the Patrol Division: Precinct One, Precinct Two, Precinct Three, Precinct Four, Traffic Unit, DUI (Driving Under Influence), D.A.R.T. (Direct Action Response Team), Mounted Unit, Parking Enforcement/Downtown Patrol, Reserve Officers, and School Crossing Guards.
