Duties:
Supervise and participate in the work of staff involved in the Operation of water treatment plants and water wells; train new employees; evaluate employee performance. Inspect and monitor water treatment plant and water wells; change chemical feeder dosages; document amount of chemicals used; collect liquid samples and perform a variety of routine water quality laboratory tests. Ensure the adherence to safe work practices by assigned plant operations personnel. |
Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience performing water purification and treatment duties. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade supplemented by specialized training in water treatment plant operations. Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid driver’s license. Possession of an appropriate, valid Class A Water Works Certificate. |
