The City of Jackson, Department of Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with WJMI and WKXI Radio Station will host the award winning Annual Easter Egg Hunt voted by the Mississippi Parks & Recreation Association (MRPA). This event has attracted hundreds of participants from all over the city of Jackson and surrounding areas! Our hunt is for boys and girls ages 1 - 10 years old. Come out and enjoy live entertainment and food and arts & crafts boots from local vendors.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will host a FREE series of “MOVIES IN THE PARK” consisting of several movies at various City of Jackson’s parks during selected months. This will be a fun-filled event with food, arts and craft vendors on site.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and small coolers to enjoy feature movies displayed on 16 x 20 outdoor movie screen.
