Pearl River Basin

The USGS, in association with the City of Jackson, operates seven real-time streamflow-gauging stations along the Pearl River and tributaries within the City. Here are links to real-time data for each station:

Big Black River Basin

Bogue Chitto Creek and Baker's Creek in west Jackson are a part of the Big Black River basin. The USGS, in association with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, operates real-time streamflow-gauging stations along the Big Black River. The closest gauging station to Jackson are located along the Big Black River east of Bovina and south of Bentonia. Here are links to real-time data for each station: 

  • Big Black River (at Old Highway 80 east of Bovina)
  • Big Black River (at US 49 south of Bentonia) 

    Statewide

    In addition to the stations in Jackson, the USGS in association with federal, state and local agencies operate real-time streamflow-gauging stations along streams throughout Mississippi. A full list of these stations sorted by river basins is available on the USGS Website.
