The City of Jackson's Neighborhood Traffic Calming program is designed to work with neighborhoods to solve traffic problems on residential streets.
The City of Jackson has developed the Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guide. The guide includes a summary of the different traffic calming measures that may be used in the City of Jackson's Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program. The measures described are some of the most common measures in the country. A measure that may be omitted does not necessarily preclude its use in the program.
