What is “Going Green” in the City of Jackson?
Developing The City of Jackson into a green city, where there is a concern and culture of:
- Conserving water and other natural resources
- Reducing energy use
- Recycling and using renewable materials
- Reducing pollution and other negative effects on the environment.
Benefits to the City of Jackson:

- Provide a greener, more enjoyable city environment for the citizens
