The Human and Cultural Services Department funds and operates programs and services that meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable people in our community, including families and individuals with low incomes, children, domestic violence victims, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
To achieve those goals, we invest in programs that help people gain independence and success, and we work with other City of Jackson departments to support the Mayor's efforts to build strong families and healthy communities.
The Department is comprised of two components, Human Services and Cultural Services. The Administrative Office is located in the Jackson Medical Mall and is opened Monday through Friday between the hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on holidays. For more information call (601) 960-0335.
