 The Jackson Fire Department is the largest Fire Department in the State of Mississippi. We currently consist of seven (7) divisions with four hundred and forty-three (443) budgeted positions. The seven (7) divisions that make up the Jackson Fire Department are Administration and Finance, Arson and Internal Affairs, Community Relations & Fire Safety Education, Emergency Services, Training, Safety, Research and Development, Office of the Fire Marshal and Fire Loss. The Emergency Services is our largest division and consists of twenty-one (21) fire stations and thirty-two (32) pieces of emergency equipment. [read more]
