 The Jackson Fire Department is the largest Fire Department in the State of Mississippi. We currently consist of 7 divisions with 443 budgeted positions. The 7 divisions that make up the Jackson Fire Department are Administration and Finance; Arson and Internal Affairs; Community Relations and Fire Safety Education; Emergency Services; Training, Safety, Research and Development; Office of the Fire Marshal; and Fire Loss. Emergency Services is our largest division and consists of 21 fire stations and 32 pieces of emergency equipment. [read more]
