Municipal Court
Jackson Municipal Court administers judicial procedures as defined by State statute and City ordinances through the processing of criminal and traffic offenses, and the collection of fines and assessments occurring within the City of Jackson.
Jackson's Municipal Court is open for Court Monday through Friday (see Court Docket Page).
The Jackson Municipal Court Services Office is open 24 hours each day, seven days a week. We are housed in the Municipal Court Building, 215 W. Pearl Street, Jackson, Mississippi. The Municipal Court staff presently consists of 59 employees.
These employees are five Judges, one Court Administrator, three Supervisors, one Accounting Technician, seven Senior Deputy Court Clerks, one Youth Offender Instructor, one Administrative Secretary, 24 Deputy Court Clerks, one Accounting Clerk, seven Administrative Clerks, five Data Entry Clerks, and three Warrant Officers (see Staff Page).
The Jackson Municipal Court is a division within the Administration Department of the City of Jackson.
