The Information Systems Division’s main objective is to provide complete technological solutions and support to internal city departments. The IS Division is also available to assist citizens and business partners with technological issues that affect communication with any city department or service.

The IS Division trains and supports the city of Jackson’s staff in daily operations of computers, printers, and software applications.  IS maintains and updates the network and server used to link all of the computers to the central file server and is responsible for the city’s website and staff email.
