City Attorney Monica Joiner Elected to IMLA Board of Directors; 1st Miss. Representation in 20 Years

Jackson’s City Attorney Monica Joiner has been elected to the International Municipal Lawyers Association Board of Directors. IMLA is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests and education of local government lawyers.

IMLA champions the development of fair and realistic legal solutions, and assists members on the vast and cutting edge legal issues facing local government lawyers today.

Mississippi has not had representation on the IMLA Board in 20 years. Ms. Joiner, who is 36, is also the youngest member of the board.
