“Freedom in Mississippi Series” Lecture by Turry M. Flucker

Turry M. Flucker, Special Initiatives Director at the Mississippi Arts Commission, presents “Art as an Agent of Social Change: The Development of Spiral, 1963-1965 and The Art Committee for Tougaloo College, 1963-1967,” a lecture on Tougaloo College’s involvement during the Civil Rights Movement and the impact it played on art. This program is financially assisted by the National Endowment for the Humanities through the Mississippi Humanities Council.
