[ARCHIVED] WHAT TO DO WITH FALLING LEAVES?

Residential Leaf Curbside Collection
Please place the leaves in garbage bags (preferably compostable) or in trash containers. Any type of lawn or garden bag will be fine to use also. The bags will be collected on your regular garbage collection day. Place the bags at the street by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Depending on the volume, it may take the waste collector two (2) collection days to collect the bagged leaves.

Here are a few guidelines to ensure that your bagged leaves are collected:

Do not leave bags loose or open.
Bags should not weigh more than 60 pounds (lbs).
Do not mix trash with the bagged leaves.
Make sure inlets and drainage pipes are kept clear of leaves to avoid serious drainage or flooding problems.
